Red Cloud
Continuing with my exploration I was introduced to the commons of an apple tree in a small cozy town at the edge of a Baltic sea.
The second zone is placed in Eckernförde a city in North Germany. This zone takes a form of a three with small instruction for a re-connecting ritual. It is a Red Cob Apple tree, planted as a contribution and tribute to an Apple orchard around the Bucket lake
This zone is produced during an art residency at Otte1 Künstlerhaus Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein region.
I am grateful to Norbert Weber, Frauke Rehder and Matthias Herrmann for their support, taking care of the tree, panting it and supporting artist like myself to rest, and deeply connect with the land and its people.
There where others who made this work so special. Explore and read more about the lake, another bench for listening by Erika Rogger-Reichelt, and the walk we took in the accompanying zine.
You can visit the tree on one of your walks around the Eimersee Lake known as Bucket Lake, near the Steinspirale.
