Somatic algorithm

 

Somatic algorithm plays with the interpretation and translation of languages (code as non-human and body as human language) as a main technology through which we construct our realities.
As a choreography of movements it takes walkers on an embodied and spatial exploration of algorithms that govern us. Executing the somatic algorithm, walkers are awaken to the algorithms of their body, nature, spacial infrastructure, their movement and language.

 

The work is a gateway to other ways of knowing such as knowledge of the body and senses thus triggering  unlearning mode within the readers/walkers from the dominant technological paradigm of AI.
